Aeranara Player Guide Crafting
Crafting
Almost everything in the game can be made by hand, from flour to weapons. The loop: gather, process, make gear, then refine it.
1. Get materials
- Gathering: trees, rocks, ore and herbs on the maps. Walk up and press E; it costs no energy, and spots come back after a few minutes.
- Farming: at your homestead, till (2 energy), plant (2) and water (1). Energy tops out at 100 and refills 10 per hour.
- Each watering cuts growing time by 25% (up to 6 per crop), and crops never wither.
- Seasons change every 7 days; a crop in its season grows 20% faster. Each crop's seasons are on the Farming & Fishing page.
- Monster drops: every item's page says which monsters drop it and where.
2. Process
- By hand (C): the basics, such as grinding
Wheat into
Flour. - Workshops: build them at your homestead in five chains: food, herbs and medicine, construction and woodwork, metal and parts, fibre and textiles. Queue up jobs; a workshop runs one at a time and keeps going while you're offline, and cancelling a job that hasn't started refunds everything. Working a chain raises your mastery and unlocks recipes. Nivara and Willowford have a public workshop for the basic recipes before you build your own.
3. Make gear
Town blacksmiths assemble weapons, armor and accessories from processed materials, for a Gold fee that rises with the gear's tier. The recipe pages below list every piece's materials.
4. Refining
Refine up to +10; each step adds 3% power. Every step uses a
Refine Stone; +5 to +7 also take an
Advanced Refine Stone, and +8 and up also take the precious item of the gear's tier (a regional boss trophy). The Gold cost is 200 × (target level)².
| Refine to | +1 to +4 | +5 | +6 | +7 | +8 | +9 | +10 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Success | 100% | 80% | 65% | 50% | 35% | 25% | 15% |
Gear never breaks, but a failure from +8 upward drops it one level. Tier 7+ gear can use a
Cataclysm Shard to prevent that.
5. Cards
Monster cards go into gear with card slots (0–2). Each card fits only certain kinds of gear. Inserting one costs 1,000 Gold, and a card can't be taken out again, so choose carefully.
6. Selling
- The buyback stall at your homestead pays fixed prices, up to a daily limit.
- The market opens player trading from level 10 (accounts at least 24 hours old). The fee is 5%, with up to 10 listings per character.
