Aeranara Player Guide Getting Started
Getting Started
From making your character to your first job change.
Make your character
Pick a name (3–16 characters, unique in your world), then choose your body, skin tone, hair style, hair colour and starting outfit. There is no class to pick yet: everyone starts as a Novice.
Your first day at the homestead
A new character wakes up at their own homestead. The bag already holds a
Novice Knife (equipped),
Red Potion,
Blue Potion,
Wheat Seeds, a
Basic Hoe and a
Basic Watering Can, plus 100 Gold.
- Talk to NPCs with a quest mark over their heads and follow the main quests. The arrow on screen always points the way.
- The early quests teach farming, crafting and fighting. Doing them in order keeps your levels flowing.
- Your respawn point, and where a return scroll takes you, is Nivara Haven.
Controls

Your first job change
At level 10 and Job Lv 9, open the skill window (J) and choose your next job. There are six: Swordsman, Mage, Archer, Cleric, Merchant and Thief. You get that job's first weapon and armor, equipped right away.
A Novice's Job Lv stops at 10; every other job's at 50. At level 50 and Job Lv 40 you can take your second job. Every job's skills and path are on the Jobs page.
Getting around
- Walk through an exit at the edge of a map to reach the next one. Some exits need a minimum level.
- A
Town warp scroll takes you to a town you have visited: a 3 s cast and a 150 Gold fee that grows with distance, up to 300 Gold. - A
Return Scroll takes you back to Nivara Haven. - Being hit or moving cancels the cast. Both scrolls share a 60 s cooldown and don't work in dungeons.
- From level 30, once the main quest opens the way, airships fly to the capital for 100 Gold (your first trip is free).
